For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers
Tomorrow on my show, The Authors' Words I interview Dellani Oakes. Delani doesn't claim to be an expert on anything, but she has a lot of experience making something out of nothing. Thrown into the world of publishing in 2008, she found that trying to promote her work was the hardest part of being an author.
Dellani once told her publisher that she had enough books, finished & unfinished, to keep him busy for the next 10 years. He didn't believe her, but he should have, because now that number has grown. If she never writes another thing, which is unlikely, Dellani could publish 4 books a year for the next 25 years (provided she ever finishes all the unfinished books), without writing anything new. She now has 53 finished novels, novellas and short stories, as well as 52 unfinished works.
