Hi there Book Marketing Network,
I know I haven't been around much lately, but I think you will understand when I tell you what's been going on.
For the past 2 years, I have been working on my book The Garden of the Soul: lessons from four flowers that unearth the Self. Readers have called the book "wonderful", "enlightening" and "as spiritual as Deepak Chopra and as magical as Paulo Coelho." It has been endorsed by many authors including Helen Gallagher, Patrick Ryan and Harper Collins author Alan Seale.
Well, my dream finally came true last week on Tuesday 7 April, and the book had its official Amazon launch. This was a true labour of love and collaboration. I am a first-time, self-published author with virtually NO marketing budget to my name. Yet somehow, through the miracle of social networking, my the book went right into the **best seller** charts in three different categories in the UK, including New Age/Occult, Mind-Body-Spirit/Spirituality and Self-Help, reaching as high as number 18 in one genre, and ranking 1494th out of the millions of books for sale through Amazon UK. The book did quite respectably in the US too, reaching as high as 6,864th in all books yesterday. Not quite high enough for the **best seller** list yet, but pretty darn close. And this is just the beginning.
As I said, this was a true labour of love and collaboration. Several dozen wonderful colleagues, just about all of whom I have met via social networking, contributed by cross-promotion and over 20 of these folks also contributed (and in some cases created) 26 beautiful mind-body-spirit gifts for everyone who purchased the book during the launch. The gifts included music, photography, eBooks, guided meditation, things about health, business... LOTS of great stuff. I also gave away my own special gift, a audio recording of a live performance of my story "The Very Good King", which is actually the prologue to the book The Garden of the Soul.
Now, as you are reading this, I have to tell you that orginally the deadline for these bonus gifts was SUPPOSED to be LAST Wednesday 8 April, but you know what? I was so busy the last few weeks before the launch that I totally MISSED the opportunity to put a promo here on Book Marketing Network (and some other sites), so I decided to extend the deadline THROUGH THE END OF APRIL. That means that you can receive the 26 mind-body-spirit gifts if you purchase The Garden of the Soul: lessons from four flowers that unearth the Self anytime this month.
To purchase The Garden of the Soul: lessons from four flowers that unearth the Self , and get all 26 fr*ee gifts, just follow these 3 simple steps:

P.S.: Check out the lastest video I did called "Song of the Rose". It's a reading of one of the poems from the book along with some fab nature photography from Sheila Finkelstein and great ambient music by some former music students of mine. http://tinyurl.com/rose-song. It's also here on this site.
