I like the blog and you make good sense. We all need to be happy at what we are doing. Many time people are enthusiastic about something but they do not follow through with it. You made great points in your blog. I enjoy writing and I could do it for the rest of my life. I currently have a published book titled Integrity: Do You Have It? 2nd edition. I have a passion for writing and I felt there was a need to write on the subject of integrity to help people understand what it is and what it means to have it or not. My book defines integrity and creates a common set of criteria to measure others and us for the existence of integrity. I continually write articles primarily on the subject of integrity and enjoy it very much. Keep up the good work.
Cindy, I couldn't agree more. Five years ago, I gave up a lucrative career as management consultant and followed my heart to become a writer. In August 2006, I sold my first book, a paranormal romantic suspense called 'The Jaguar Legacy', and feel as if I'm living my dream.

I am glad everyone is enjoying the article. I decided to write my first book because it was something I truly believed in. My first love is History and my second writing. Currently I am doing genealogy and writing. So my next article(s) will be on genealogy. I am currently pursuing a career in genealogy and hope to incorporate my writing into it.

good luck to everyone and their hearts true desires
