The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

“Always an over-achiever, I quit my day job to attend a five-day seminar entitled How to Write a Novel. After all, how hard could it be? Thousands of authors did it every year, some of them more than once …”

This is an excerpt from my saga describing the ups and downs of my writing journey, a journey that led to ‘The Call’ for my paranormal romantic suspense, THE JAGUAR LEGACY. To read more, visit ‘You Don’t Know Jack!’ -- http://www.youdontknowjack.blogsavy.com.

I welcome your comments, opinions, or observations, and will check in occasionally to respond. At the end of November, one lucky commenter will be chosen to receive a copy of my book as part of THE JAGUAR LEGACY, as part of my month-long Virtual Book Tour.

Does anyone out there have a publishing journey they would like to share?

Maureen,

I have a free download titled My publishing journey on my site www.myqualitywriting.com. It identifies the things I have learned through writing my book and getting published. I have learned much about the publishing industry and continue to learn more each day. My publishing experience also points to some opportunities for promotion. There are suggestions on what to look for in a publishing contract to avoid problems in the future.
Thanks Dennis. I finally found your article under 'Free Downloads' at http://www.myqualitywriting.com/Ebook_on_publishing_process.pdf. It contains lots of very practical tips for both published and unpublished writers.
