A Book that I wrote "History of Street Cops

Took me almost ten years to write this book. The publishing company , edited, advertised and marketed my book. So, they say.

The book has not the proper order that I originally wrote it, there are double paragraphs and double photo's and more mistakes,     one comment, that I should have not edited the book myself but to send to a normal publishing company. It costs me over $ 6,600.00. The only place that friends and some others could find the book was on the internet, but they had to type the title , to see the book (cover etc ) They published the book in December 2012, since then I have received less then $500.00 in royalties

They get 25 % , I get 25% and 50 % for publishing. There is nothing to publish, the editing is bad, the advertising and market is nothing, my book doesn't appear in any book stores or corporate  companies book stores  not one on any shelf, I wrote over 300 letters to corporate offices, book companies, book stores TV , radio stations , movie directors, about 60 of these letter. I received about 30 replies , one from Walmart, that stated they do not do business with this company, Barnes and Noble did purchase some books and they also replied to my letters.

How do I find a publishing company to go over my book edited  new editing and new advertising and marketing  so I would be able to sell this book. Put my book in stores on their shelves so that people can purchase the book.   Also what amounts of money would this cost me. Thank you !

As soon as I find out what I am able to do, I with stop my so called contract with this company. I was told by a company supervisor that I can cancel my contract anytime
