The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Authors Working Together to Sell More Books

"Your life changes when you meet people." - Sterling Valentine

I want to encourage the authors and publishers on this Book Marketing Network to work together to help each other to sell more books. That's the main reason I created this network in the first place.

There are so many ways that you can help each other. For example, I wrote an article on 30 Ways to Help a Book Author You Love - http://www.bookmarket.com/loveawriter.htm. Most of those ways apply not only to your friends but also to authors helping each other.

In addition, you can do joint ventures, Amazon Bestseller Campaigns, blog tours, and more.

Please use this forum right here to list your requests for partners as well as your responses or offers to help other authors.

You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish if you work together rather than alone.

For example, I'd love to see a fiction writers co-op promotion where each novelist promotes the other members in the co-op on their blog or website or social network. Tweet about each other. Like each others' Facebook page. Do joint blog tours.

Poets can do the same thing. So can business book authors. Spiritual authors. Christian authors. Cookbook authors. Etc.

I love this idea. I hope some Georgia authors respond to you.

John Kremer, author, 1001 Ways to Market Your Books

Hi! I am a new Georgia author (St. Simons). Just gave a talk last week @ the Georgia Center for the Book in Decatur. They found me through Georgia Backroads magazine. Sales are not brisk. www.theIdiat.com. You can contact me from there or from this site.
I am also learning, as I published my first book and live in Middle GA.   I am out of ideas, I have put ads on Google and face book....not a lot, as it is expensive.   I also did Amazon optimization.  Just keep the faith, keep doing ads and promotions and like me believe you will get there.
Georgia authors note: great opportunity here for all of you to sell more books.

If you come up with good ideas I am interested!

I'm a georgia Children's author what is it you have in mind.

I'm happy to host interviews on my blog http://stellastargirlblog.wordpress.com/

They're in-character interviews were the main character from my 3rd novel, (A superhero called Stella Stargirl) does interviews with Main Characters from other people's novels.

Anyone wants their character interviewing just drop me a PM :)

I'd love for the main character in my humorous demon series, Demon Chaser, to be interviewed. Tiffany LaBouf is a 22-year-old Hollywood starlet who died as a result of taking a date rape drug, and was pulled from Limbo into Hell by the lecherous demon Gutrillus Canus. As you can already tell, Tiffany has quite a few stories to tell.

Thank you.

David Berardelli

Neat.

Sounds like a really intriguing character too. Being a former Hollywood star she'd get along (or maybe spark jealousy with ;) ) my character Stella :)

I'll pm you the info about the interviews!

Thanks

Jack

I'd do it too. Sounds cool.
Alrighty, awesome. Sent you a friend add (Gotta be a friend before I can message you the info I'll need to write the questions :) )

That is a great idea. How about interviewing Rin-Tin-Tin? He's the main character of my book Rin-Tin-Tin: Movie Star.  Yes, he was a real dog, but he also seems fictional -- so much fiction was created about him.
