The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

I'd agreed to be interviewed by Magdelena Ball on her Compulsive Reader internet talk show tonight. I was more nervous than a worm in a fishery, but she made me feel welcome once I st-st- started and I think it went all right. She'd asked me to read an excerpt from Exit, Pursued by a Bee and then answer questions about scifi and Escape Velocity magazine afterwards.

An interesting experience though I admit that I was so nervous before hand that I couldn't write anything creative all day!

Thanks to the support from so many friends and strangers - especially those who were kind enough to say they didn't hear my errs and umms. Even my daughter heard the talk and emailed the link to her friends. It is a wonder of the modern age that I can sit in my armchair near Liverpool in England, be interviewed live by Magdelena Ball in Australia and the programme be processed and organized from New York. A triangular topology. Whether it results in more books sold we'll wait and see but it was a blast and I can recommend the experience.
