Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Today's message is a synopsis of this week's Sunday school lesson that I am teaching, and I felt the desire to share with my reading audience.

I will approach today's message by asking these questions, who are called into righteousness, why was the call necessary and by whom? Let's begin by stating that the call was necessary because as stated in our scripture text; for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. What this is saying that all humanity is sinful by nature because of the disobedience of Adam; therefore, all humanity born after Adam was born into sin. Sin caused a separation from God the Father our creator, which resulted in a broken fellowship between God and man.

There was a sin-debt that had to be paid to restore the broken fellowship. For the sin-debt to be paid an atonement was required, and the only person found worth to pay this debt way Jesus Christ God's only Son. Christ became man's propitiator who took the unrighteousness of humanity and gave all who believe His righteousness. Jesus paid it all, and all who believe in Him become the righteousness of Christ.

That said all believers are righteous of God by faith believes in Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as Lord and Savior we are now saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit. We are children of the Most High God who have been called into holy living emulating our heavenly Father.

Being God's children, we are now members of the holy nation of God.
