Ephesians 5:25b-27

Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

If the question was raised, who is the church? The church is made up of baptized believers who have been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. Individual believers are part of the corporate body of Christ each being given a different gift to edify the body.

As each believer is called by God, the person is then sanctified, justified and regenerated through Christ's shed blood. In doing so every believer have been given a right standing with the Father and when Christ present His church before God it is spotless and holy just as He is.

Christ's church is the holy nation of priests that have been set apart from this world while it remain in the earth. The church will remain holy up to and through its stay in the New Jerusalem, which is forever. It is noteworthy to say, the church is to be holy as it is the bride of a holy One who is its head-Christ.

Kingdom building is in full swing as each person who comes to Christ. He is establishing His New Jerusalem where He will reign forever.

Believers, we are part of Christ's spotless church. We are the righteous of Christ.
