The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

I would like to find a publisher that is not print on demand for Bertha Fights Back. The company I used really did nothing to help promote my books. I did it all by myself and with the help of some great people on this site and bookreview.ning. and of course Dave. If anyone has a publisher that deals with kids books and is not print on demand please let me know. It gets costly to publish that way. Fran

Thank you I will. Fran
Hi Fran,

Don't limit yourself! Have pride because you've worked hard. Start submitting to the agents and the big pubs and see what happens there. The best thing any writer can do is have their work edited then submit to agents. Children's books are always hot on the market. Don't ignore big presses or agents if you haven't tried that route yet. It may be a hard route but believe me it's worth it. And if you want a pub, try the folks that published my last two books, Simon and Schuster. Their imprint Pocket is always looking for childrens books. Get you a good agent and get rolling. Best of luck!
