The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

I finally got my two books: Someone Stop This Merry-Go-Round; An Alcoholic Family in Crisis and the sequel Please, God, Not Two; This Killer Called Alcoholism out in e-books on www.amazon.com.

Tomorrow I go to a Panel Discussion at Emerson College in Boston with three other authors to hear about how e-books are pushing our books aside. It's run by four publishers and two agents.

I picked an agent I liked best (read their profile online) and put a media kit together for her. I'm hoping she is willing to take it with her and look it over. I have a hard road with showing an agent two self-published memoirs on alcoholism and the loss of my husband and daughter from it. Hopefully, my platform with speaking on this topic and appearances on radio, cable tv, women's ministries, halfway homes, alcoholic rehabs, etc. will catch her interest. I mentioned the williness to travel.

The worse she can say is no.

How are all of you doing with e-books?
