For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

How strong in your love for God? This is a valid question given all that God has done for humanity and continues to do in our lives. Let's examine the facts; through disobedience, sin entered the world and separated humanity from God. His agape love caused Him to pay an enormous price to reconcile man back to Himself. He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life, restoring a broken relationship with the Father.

Second, God provides for all our needs as recorded in Philippians 4:19. During Jesus' earthly ministry, He would meet the person's physical need to meet his/her spiritual need. There is no failure in God.

Third, God the Father tests our love for Him as well as our faith in Him. These tests come in the form of trials, hardships, and other discomforting situations. God's love and presence are always with us. Remember Job who suffered much but never renounced God during his trials. In the end, Job was restored, and so were his possessions with more than what he had before. What does this say for you and me today? It gives us assurances that whatever the situation is, there is nothing that can separate us from God's love.  Why I make this claim is because if God allows the circumstance, He will bring you through the dilemma.

Lastly, we are to have Job-like faith and trust in God because all things work together for our good for those who love God and is called Him for His purpose (Romans 8:28 KJV).
