If it sounds too Good to be true it probably is

I have been working on marketing my book for months now, only to finally have real authors tell me I fell for a dream that will never come true with my publishing company. 

I had no idea what I was doing and still am learning all about being an author. Unfortunately I only wanted to tell my story once and it doesn't look like any help will be coming from the publishing company that I went with.

People have informed me that not only are they a vanity publishing company but that now no one will touch my book, even if I wanted to try going to a legitimate company.

My heart is crushed because I never planned on making a career out of this I just wanted to make my dream of telling my story become a reality.

I sappose I should chock it up to my own fault for not investigating more but I believed so strongly that what I had was good that I just fell for what I wanted to hear.

I won't give up but I seriously have doubts now that I never had before.

Just my luck.

The catch is that I have had great reviews from real authors and that should be good enough but it just makes it sting that much more.
