Love is of God: 1 John 4:8,19

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  We love him because he first loved us.

If the question was posed, why am I continuously writing about love? Well, the answer is, I am trying to say that we who are in Christ love all because God is love, and the manifestation of hate that is ravaging our nation is ungodly, and the haters and evildoers are not of God.

That said, we as believers in Christ are commanded to love them as well but not their wicked ways and attitudes. It is worth noting that there was a time in our lives when we were out of fellowship with God, but He continued to love us and call out us to repent and restore our broken connection with Him.

God gave His only Son Jesus Christ, who gave His life to redeem us; in doing so, all who believe in Jesus Christ are new creatures in Him. Being a new creature in Christ, the hateful and evil hearts we once had are now replaced with a heart of love, kindness, compassion, mercifulness, joy, and longsuffering.

My main point to this message is love, as God does; pray that God changes their hearts from evil to love and peace.
