Seek Peace Instead of Hate: Psalm 11:5

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

There is far too much hate in our world today; let us try more love and seek peace with all men. I know it is hard to love when violence and hate are all around us, but we must love with the love of God and let Him bring justice to the wrongdoers.

Hate and violence are destroying communities, families, and our government. the question now becomes, how are we to overcome these acts of hatred? First, we must recognize that these acts of violence and hatred are the works of the devil. Second, we must not allow ourselves to fall prey to Satan and his evil schemes.

How do we combat Satan and his evil schemes? We must seek peace with all men and let God’s justice run down as water and righteousness (God’s righteousness) a mighty stream. (Amos 5:24). God in His time will bring about judgment on all evildoers because He does not reward evil deeds. God is a righteous God who is just; therefore, let us all seek peace, calm ourselves, and wait on the Lord to see His salvation.

God is our deliverer.
