Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:  But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Living in a fallen world with chaos, many become weary and dismayed. This chaos has caused me to sometimes become overly concerned about the conditions of our world and ask God when there will be peace in the valley.

As I was trying to keep my spirits up, I went to God on this subject; Isaiah 41:10 KJV came to mind, which asks us to wait on the Lord and not become dismayed nor fear anything, but Him (Partial Phrase)—also, considering that many of our young people are experiencing difficulties processing all of the mass shootings, and other evilness that is being played before their and adults eyes, which led me to the above scripture verses.

If I can leave one thought with you today, it is “Wait on the Lord,” for He will bring all evilness to an end in His time. We are to trust Him with our total being, never doubting that He, the Lord God, is in control. He knew these days were coming before any of us ever thought that such evilness would come to fruition.

Another encouraging word is to ask God for strength to persevere, lean, and depend on Him; for God is all-powerful, He is sovereign, He is everywhere, and knows all, and can do anything but fail. As we (they) who wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

Wait on the Lord; He is our all-encompassing God.
