I hope and pray that everyone is doing well and having the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful spring. I'm writing you as a group because I wanted to ask you, if you would please share my web site with others who may benefit from my past experiences. Thanks to Sunny, I'm introducing myself here too. As a fourth generation Californian and a writer who uses California settings, I guess I qualify. My latest book in the Rocky Bluff P.D. crime series is No Sanctuary
set in the fictional beach community of Rocky Bluff in Ventura County. Kindred Spiritsis the latest in my Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery series which is set in Bear Creek (fictional mountain community in the Southern Sierra), but Tempe also travels to Crescent City and Santa Barbara while investigating a murder.

I'm Bonnie Hearn Hill, based in Fresno. Six thrillers from MIRA Books, set in such places as San Francisco, Fort Bragg/Mendocino, Hanford (!) and a fictional Fresno. My Star Crossed YA series (publishing in 2010) is set in Monterey, San Francisco and the fictional Terra Bella Beach. Glad to be able to join a group of California writers.

Thanks for the info, Sunny...I, too, am from the Central Valley of California -- Fresno, at the moment. My novels are drawn from events unique to this area of California -- "An Accidental Life" focuses on what happens when bored teenagers try to spice things up a bit. Repercussions follow for years to come. Other novels derived from this region include: "Embrace the Whirlwind," "Chasing Stardust," "Miles to Go," and "Web of Tyranny."

I'm Sunny Frazier, Lemoore, which is in the San Joaquin Valley. Closest city you would know is Fresno.
I write the Christy Bristol Astrology Mysteries. FOOLS RUSH IN was the first; WHERE ANGELS FEAR is coming out in a few days from Oak Tree Press. The books are police procedural/amateur sleuth/paranormal.
Watch out folks--I know plenty of CA authors and I'm going to get them on this list.
