Hi All! I almost don't qualify for this esteemed group - the nearest city to my little piece of heaven is Reno, NV (75 miles southeast). Just published my second novel. We're having a ball with marketing because my main character just happens to be a controversial figure on TV's Survivor-Tocantins (Ben "coach" Wade). A Voyage Beyond Reason chronicals Wade's six month solo ocean voyage in 1996-7. Happy to swap war stories with like minded Californians. I'm a rare breed native (hometown, Santa Barbara).

Hello All,
I just published my debut thriller novel "Compulsion" and I'm trying to generate the usual interest with blogging, author pages, and networking sites. I'm on the Monterey Bay in CA. And I'm currently working on my second book. - Jennifer

I am self published and doing all the stuff I hear about that seems to make sense. Blogging, author pages, joining these kinds of sites. I have posted on a few forums on sites I thought I could generate some buzz. I also set up a book trailer and added to Amazon.
