Writing children's books is a most rewarding experience. The joy that comes from knowing, that your story, put a smile on the face of a little one, is heartwarming. The tale being read to them, will impress them and teach them, while they listen to, or read the words, of a children's book. As an author, I feel blessed to be able to touch the lives of children, by the tales I write.

A Perfect Stocking Stuffer!

Little Sister’s First Christmas
Bob Connally
ISBN #9781498478861
A CBM Book Review
10.0 out of 10.0 stars
.
Little Sister’s First Christmas by Bob Connally shares a short and endearing story from the perspective of TJ, Maria’s 7 year-old big brother. This year, it’s Maria’s first Christmas. TJ really wants to make sure his little sister has what she wants for Christmas. During a trip to the Mall and a visit with Santa, TJ decides that he must take charge for Maria (since she can’t talk) and write Santa a letter! Santa said that was fine as long as he sends the letter before Christmas Eve.
.
Life was really busy after that with decorating, Christmas cooking and school plays, that he forgot.  All of the sudden Christmas Eve arrived.  TJ felt guilty and feels like his sister won’t even get a present for Christmas at all. He continues to worry and wonder what to do. He even has bad dreams about the way things could end up.
.
During the course of all this going on in TJ's mind, his parents are unaware of what TJ is experiencing and all of those feelings of guilt come out Christmas morning and TJ finds out that his fears were unfounded. Maria received many presents from Santa and all of their grandmas and grandpas.
.
TJ draws a special picture for Maria of the yellow hippo that TJ believed Maria had wanted that he saw in the Mall. Hearing those first words, “Big Brubber” made all the difference as TJ learns the value of love. Love is special. It is to be cherished and on Christmas, the most important thing is to have love and unity in a family.
.
This story encourages all to be a family, and to love one another deeply, to love Jesus, to enjoy going to church in a simple genre – through the heart and soul of an innocent 7-year-old boy named TJ.
.
A highly recommended read! - Order your copy of Little Sister’s First Christmas at Amazon, in Kindle or at Barnes and Noble.

Christian author, Amy B. Crowe, releases Changed By a Catch ~ What happens to an ordinary day when a young boy decides to do things his own way?  White dogs turn red, carpet is ruined, a briefcase is never going to be the same, and an eye looks like it ran into a big ink pad.  JJ is a young boy who faces some tough decisions.  What do you do if a stranger comes to your door? Do you obey your parents when they ask you to do something that doesn't seem important? Is it OK to give out information that could allow someone to get into your home? Do you have certain opinions about people because they may not be like you? JJ's parents have rules to teach him safety and help him avoid getting hurt, but he chooses to disobey. JJ learns a valuable lesson the hard way and realizes in the end never to underestimate anyone.
.
This book makes a wonderful gift. Be sure to order extra copies for birthday party give-aways and the Christmas holiday season.

Deep in the lush jungle of the Argentine lives eleven-year-old Carlota, her father Daniel, and a host of animals that are very friendly to the little girl. There are the parrots, the deer and, best of all, the strange little Patagonian hares. Although those little animals don’t really look like a rabbit or any other animal on earth, the peculiar little creatures become dear friends to the isolated Carlota.

The jungle is loved by the little girl as it is “a park, playground, and zoo all wrapped up in one.”

Join in the exciting adventure of Carlota and her father as they face one of the great dangers of the wild Misiones, Argentina jungle---the menacing tigre (jaguar). Although awesome to behold in its natural environment, tigre is the most fearsome big cat of South America. Read how Carlota’s father travels to town to purchase a birthday gift for his daughter and upon returning falls into extreme danger. The gorgeous colorful pages reveal how Carlota, with the help of her Patagonian hares, saves the girl’s father.

This is a story for precocious young readers, along with upper elementary students. It is sure to also be enjoyed by adults. It will become a favorite to be read over and over again with great delight.

The Kingsley twins’ 5th grade class has a big problem—Ralph Henry Dalton, the Biggest Loudest Braggart of All Time!

The whole class has had it past their eyeballs with his boasts, so Jerrianna schemes to bring Ralph Henry to his knees. How? By hosting an air hockey tournament in their basement, and ultimately pitting him against her wonder cat, Snowshoe Mal.

Making matters worse, their moms were fierce rivals as kids. Looks like Ralph Henry isn’t the only one needing an attitude adjustment!

Okay, Get that cat in here! Right now! One of these loudmouth braggers has to be thoroughly trounced by her! Right now, Malley! Before the pizzas get here!

Here kitty, kitty, kitty!

Oh sure, doesn’t it figure . . . Malley’s disappeared without Jeoffrey’s help!

Join 11-year-old twins, Josh and Jenna, as the mysterious Sandman sends them on an adventure into the world of dreams where that which is, perhaps is not; and what is not just might be.

The Sandman promised them all kinds of fun. "The adventure of a lifetime," he told them. "Better than Disneyland," he told them. What he didn't tell them was that they are the key to fulfilling an ancient prophecy. The twins suddenly find themselves thrust into the adventure of a lifetime, alright. Just not quite the way they'd imagined.

In this fast paced tale, they come face to face with an assortment of bizarre creatures, encounter the strangest of strangers and hair-raising dangers on their quest to find the lost Dreamstone.

The Dreamstone must be found and returned to its proper place before it falls into the hands of D'rath Kahn, the Dark Lord of Nightmares. If the twins fail in their quest, then all of us––you, me, everyone––will suffer horrendous nightmares every sleeping moment of our lives… for the rest of our lives. Can they do it? Find out in .

Children will delight in this action maze adventure based on the English pangram, "The quick sly fox jumps over the lazy brown dog." This pangram is used as a basis for extrapolating the story plots in this book. Children can make choices on how they want the story to unfold. Emotional intelligence points are awarded based on their choices. Parents will appreciate the emotional intelligence score scale focusing on friendship at the end of the book. One good example of an action maze adventure was showcased in the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks as the leading star. There was a scene in a boardroom at MacMillan Toy Company where the adult Josh and Susan presented a proposal for a computerized version of an action maze adventure, a story format that has existed in paperback form in real life for ages prior to this movie's debut. It is ironic that the author has done the opposite, first by composing an action maze adventure in an online blog, and then converting it into a book.

A cute new children's book!

Pony Ride is a delightful rhyming book for children of all ages. Saddle up and come along on an adventurous ride across green meadows, past many animals, and on up the hillside to the roundup where calves are being branded. This is a great picture book to introduce the young cowboy or cowgirl to the thrill of the West.
