New Review: Saving Sailor by Renee Riva

http://thebookbuff.blogspot.com/2010/07/saving-sailor.html

This is really an awesome little coming of age story about a girl named AJ trying to find her voice in her crazy Italian family, and also a place in the world in 1968. Wonderful book.

I've been so busy with my day job I can't seem to think straight about anything else. I do find a bit of time-maybe a half hour-to continue writing but, it hasn't been easy. My day job is mostly numbers; not words-the transition is harder than one might think.

I want to introduce myself to the group, My Christian book is my testimony directed to my family about living a live that is happy, joyous and free. It also has a lot in it about careers using biblical concepts and the 12 steps of AA. It is short and is being used by churches, treatment centers and high schools as a discussion guide

I've been away for a while. Sorry about that. My wife's mom passed away this January 12th. The last couple of months of her life was pretty tough but, we kept our promise to let her pass in her own bed in our home. She was with us for going on 29 years-we are both hurting. I'll be back more often from now on.
