Ever wondered about how the world came to be? About gravity? About science? Who God is and what it all means to you?
The author invites readers to discover with him through a journey of key Biblical insights that reveal scriptural truths, presenting God as the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
Shedding light on Creation, the Cosmos, our humanity, our will, and our emotions, thus revealing the majestic nature of God and His plan, the author looks at Genesis to Revelation. Stating that God is the Grand Designer and Divine Creator, the author offers scripture verses proclaiming that all of Creation speaks boldly. Explaining this, God’s Divine order and balance of the Universe is presented throughout as the author offers a Biblical view of history and important Biblical figures.
Intertwined as chapter titles are songs that bring deeper meaning and an enjoyable read. Eye-opening, this book gives answers through the exploration of Who God is and His nature thus revealing Truth and the truth of God’s Word. As the author states, The goal is to help us learn what to look for and where to find these clues that our Creator has revealed about Himself and His character for those who diligently seek Him.
Beginning with witty analogies by the author from the infamous movie, The Wizard of Oz, gives readers clues as the author speaks that there is someone Who is behind the curtain. Although, He is not a fraud, but is the Truth of all that we are and all that we see in Creation. Divided into four parts: In the Beginning, In His Own Image, In His Infinite Wisdom, and In the End, the book relates the will, humanity, the importance of making the right choices, and God’s divine plan for salvation, noting that we are all created in His image and were meant to be Christ-like.
Song titles that enhance each chapter are: Here Comes the Sun, Starry Starry Night, Beautiful Noise, Cold As Ice, I Wanna Be Like You, Love is in the Air, Let’s Stay Together, Cat’s In Cradle, Keeper of the Stars, If You Want Me To, Gotta Serve Somebody, Born to Fly, Angels Among Us, and Love Can Build a Bridgerelate our story and God’s desire to be in Holy communion with us. Concluding with Afterthoughts: Sunset, the author lovingly ends the book with an invitation to salvation and offers hope with a warm imagery of a sunset. The book brings great understanding as to who we were created for, who God is, and encourages all readers that we all have purpose and meaning in this thing called life. And last, but not least, that all is well with the soul when God is in the midst. 10.0 stars ~ CBM

The VIP Christian
There is a gap in our gospel that is creating an environment of division along the lines of race, class, ethnicity, culture, language, age, and socio-economic status. But deep down in the core of our being is a VIP Light that wants to shine to bring the broken pieces together. Songs have been composed about it; sonnets and poems have been written about it; philosophers have pondered on it; and prophets have spoken of it.
The cross section of humanity in all social structures of women, children, and men from all cultures, languages, and color cry for this light to shine. If this light is to break out and pierce the pockets of darkness in of our social structures (family, education, business, media/politics, arts/entertainment, government/military, and religion), God's VIP Christians will have to lead the way.
When Jesus asked "Who do people say I am" Peter said "You are Christ the Son of the Living God." If we were to ask our families, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and coworkers, "Who do people say we are," would people know us as God's VIP Christians? Check your VIP status and see the gap in your gospel and be the successful Christian God has created from eternity.
The VIP Christian is first in the VIP Series consisting of the "The VIP Prayer," "The VIP Family," The VIP Education," The VIP Church" and the "VIP Business"

Jaclyn and the Beanstalk by Mary Ting is set in the 16th century, giving a new twist on the old fairytale of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Jaclyn, along with her mother and father have a quaint life in the country, until one day Jaclyn eavesdrops on a private meeting held by her father and other villagers in the dark of the night. As a backdrop, Jaclyn has been hearing haunted voices whom she thinks are demons trying to get to her soul. These nightmares become a large fear that she fights inwardly. Facing Black Mountain, monsters, with elements of mythical tales from the past, her worst fears are proven. But with determination and a profound love for family, she advances as a strong, almost princess warrior.
Jaclyn is the heroine in the story, somewhat different from most girls her age, and at the tender age of 16, she wanted to find love first before settling down into a housewife role, as expected by society. Jaclyn is independent, witty, fun and stubborn all at the same time. She knows what she wants and desires, and being more of a tomboy, prefers pants instead of dresses. Her passion for life burns ever brightly throughout the story, as readers find out that many a day was spent training on how to wield a sword with her father.
Tender words of wisdom given by her father, adventure, suspense, a dreary dark side with a curse and a twist make this a delightful story for young teens seeking their path along life. “Lead with love in your heart”, are some words to live by given by her father seemingly inspire, teaching that life is a journey wrought with trials, but good times do come like the sunshine. Knowing your heart, truth and love, all give this story a strong steeping in Christian values. With a strange take on the Roman soldier who pierced Jesus’ side and a telling of Mary Magdalene, Jaclyn finds out a long held secret in her family’s life. Still, love overcomes all evil in this wispy, fast-paced novel.
Mary Ting writes with an adventurous heart, a clever pen, introducing young readers to a classic that meets fantasy, shedding light on the family devotion and a love story that buds to completion by the end.
This short novel comes as a highly recommended read for parents and young adults that prefer fantasy fiction with a Christian-based theme and a creative perspective.
Mary Ting is one of those writers to notice and watch. For further information about the author and her books, visit Tangled Tales of Ting. You may get your copy of Jaclyn and the Beanstalk at Amazon or in Kindle as a download.
