I'm pleased to confirm that the call for entries for the 2010 Royal Society Prize for Science Books is now open.

 

The 2010 Royal Society Prize for Science Books will celebrate the best of 2009's new popular science writing for a general adult readership.

 

The Royal Society is now inviting publishers to submit entries for the 2010 Royal Society Prize for Science Books, which will celebrate the best of 2009’s new popular science writing. Publishers have to 1 April 2010 to submit their entries.

 

Publishers have to 1 April 2010 to submit their entries. Full details of how to submit an entry is on the Royal Society website.

 

The first publication of books in English must have been between 1 January 2009 and 31 December 2009 inclusive. Books entered must be available for purchase in the UK through a UK bookstore or online retailer (eg Amazon). There is no restriction on the geographical location of the publisher of any entry. There are no restrictions on the nationality, age or any other characteristic of the author(s) or illustrator(s) of any entry.
