Hi everyone!

Just a quick note. I just sold foreign rights (money is in the bank as of today) "The Easiest Way to Meet and Pick Up Girls--EVER!!"

I mention this because I am tired of a small cadre of publishers and authors screaming about how self-publishing and POD is garbage. This book has taken on all comers and sold in the top 4% spot all of 2008! It has beaten down a LOT of major titles by the "Big 6."

I encourage everyone here, I IMPLORE YOU to keep pushing, to keep writing, and keep fighting (get those books sold!) the good fight. Freedom of the press means your ability to write and sell your works without the pre-approval of one of the 6 overlords of the publishing industry. I wish everyone the very best of luck and success, and I look forward to any you care to share. Thanks for reading.

Thanks, All! I have book proposal ready to present to agents. "You Just Know is a book that help women and girls feel better about themselves through learning self-esteem, team building and knowing that now matter what, you are enough. I'm new to book writing an publishing, so I'm here to learn. Clarissa clarissaburt.com

Think Captain Bligh had it rough? Try feeding four sons, all with eccentric eating habits - to put it mildly. Pitcairn Island never looked so good...

One chapter from my recently released ebook, Guys and Other Near Humans: True Life Tales from the Testosterone Farm. (At least the family dog is female.)

Hi Everyone!

I'm a freelance writer, editor and book-writing coach. I have several books of my own in work, and am in the middle of editing several for others. I also have a chapter in a book about women entrepreneurs, which will be out in December, published by Sprout Publishing.

I write feature articles for a NH newspaper on authors who are visiting the area on their book tours. (Links to some of the articles are at: www.JustTheWriteWords.com - click on "Articles")

I love to write and love to edit, so if you need an editor, please be in touch. I especially enjoy substantive editing because I am passionate about helping you get your message out to your audience so they take action.

I have found that many folks are great at what they do, great speakers, etc., and when it comes to putting their ideas on paper, they have difficulty. That is where I come in! I will speak with you, listen to you share about your passion and then make sure that your book oozes both you and your passionate message.

I'm so glad to have found this site! It's great to be surrounded by authors!

Regards,
Faye Levow

I'm a widowed, homeschooling mom of a 13 year old child. I've been writing since age 11, but sold a children's story about 15 years ago. I just got back into writing in September, 2008. I've written 5 books so far: The Gift of Healing for Today's Believer, it's translation into Spanish (also done by me) titled, El Don de Sanidad Divina para el Creyente de Hoy, Toxic Religion, Reiki Healing Made Easy (where I attune people for free to become healers), and my newest book just finished and soon to be on sale through Amazon.com, Confessions of a Real Ghost Whisperer. All are on Kindle (except for the last one which hasn't been published yet).
