msg to Marilyn Z. Tomlins. don't go the self-publish route unless there is no hope of getting published through other avenues. 130,000 words is a bit long. That would breach the 300 page benchmark. Beyond that, printing costs skyrocket. Do you have a natural (or could create) a breaking point and make 2 novels? I'd enjoy visiting with you.

Hello! I am a new here; new to the group, but not to writing as I am a reporter. Two years ago I could finally write 'The End' to a 130,000-word book about Dr. Marcel Petiot, the World War Two French serial killer. I thought that I would have a publisher within days; now, I am thinking of self-publication.

Hello everyone. I have finally taken that step. After years of "wanting to write" and a myriad of experiences I have been encouraged to share my knowledge.
Doesn't that sound awesome? Did it make you think WOW, she must have so much to share! Don't be fooled.
What that actually means is that I attempted something that failed. But in the failure, many lesson where learned.
Now I have been encouraged to take the experience, turn it around and make it a positive thing
So, now I am on the road to learning how to do that.
I'd sure love your support/advise/feedback. Maybe you can check out the progress I am making over at

I am so exited about this network and this group.
I have had 2 Brain Tumor surgeries , Radiosurgery and now a regrowth that nothing can be done. I want to share my story with my family and others. I have sent a friends request, I hope to see you or should I say read you soon.

Hello everyone,

I hope and pray that everyone is doing well and having the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful spring. I'm writing you as a group because I wanted to ask you, if you would please share my web site with others who may benefit from my past experiences. I have had multiple sclerosis (MS) for more than 29 years and I have written the book Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me, which is my self-help memoir written for the sole purpose of helping others, their friends and family deal more positively with the stresses put on a relationship when life is interrupted by chronic illness or disability. If just one relationship is saved or benefited it will have been well worth my literally having made my life an open book. If you have the opportunity please visit my web site and/or share it with those who may benefit. Thank you all so very much.

My web site: www.Lifeinterrupted-nolonger.com

God bless,
Chris
