My first book was published from articles originally posted on my website. I also added some new information and a guide to go along with it. I then repurposed the same information into a PDF ebook, Kindle book and audiobook MP3 downloads and CD.

This idea would be brilliant for the Kindle Singles ? You only need content up to about 30 000 words We are having a discussion on an Amazon discussion about finding content for the new Singles.
Shelley, do you think going the Singles way would be better than a full ebook ? Or see what plays out when you get your content together ?

Carole,

I published my first book in the fall of 2008 using this method. I added some original content as well as a Bible study guide and leaders guide. I continue to sell print copies, PDF copies, Kindle copies and my audio book - so I'd say it is working for me :)

But, yes, the Kindle singles would be another option to look into! Great idea.
