Sister's With a Positive Word is a Support Group for all sisters to have a place to find encouragement, a positive word, networking opportunities, and over all support. I would like for this group to connect as a sisterhood. Please feel free to vent here (with respect to others), offer a kind word, celebrate truimphs and sympathize when a sister is in pain. As ladies of Literature we have to learn to
turn slander into support for one another. Use Sisters with a Positive Word to compliment one another and offer a word of Praise.
I am ready to lift a sister up, how about you? We are all sisters and United we Stand and Divided we FALL ! Let's Spread a Positive Word , I'll start with a message for you all: Sister, I Love you ALL.

I think that I had to go through the stuff that I have been through in order to dig in and pull out the positive and creative efforts that lay therein. I call them 'beginnings'. I know more about beginnings than I do about endings, and it is a little daunting when entering new territory but gets easier as time passes.

If for some reason you get a double take of my message, just realize that I am getting me feet wet trying to learn about using these different sites.

I had labled my comment as "I feel blessed"

Sabriena had invited me to become a part of this group and I feel honored to do just that. I really believe that we as woman have a voice to be heard and that we do play an intricate role in our society today.

This is my own personal feeling, but I feel years ago, we didn't dare speak out. It was just not our place to speak our mind. But as the old song goes from Helen Reddy, "I am woman, hear me roar". I really feel that we have something very special to offer and it is up to us to march forward and be heard and we can do that through dignity, love and compassion.

I have played hermit for two years now since the death of my husband and soul mate. I felt safe hiding in the four walls of my home. There I knew I would not be hurt. Now, I am taking that step out into what I call the world of the unknown through spoken word as a brand new author.

My agent, Aidana, has given me a lot of encouragment for which I am grateful to her. When I look out in our world, I see pain all around, but then if I look through a different motive in mind, I see beautiful people with beautiful talents and a will to make this a better place for all. This is where I want to be.

Daring to come out of those four walls is exposing yourself to what ever comes along, but I feel that I have grown in strength and the love I have for God has given me that strength and He is the One who has seen me through some very difficult times.

God gives us all talents and what ever they may be, if through our talents, we give glory to Him, then we will be blessed.

Thank you Sabriena for inviting me and allowing me to be a part of this intriguing group of women.
