Thrillers and why we love them!

Mysteries and thrillers (for the moment, let's table the fine points of difference which are endlessly debated elsewhere) are essentially puzzles. There is a crime or crimes. Who did it or will do it? Why? Will they be caught? Will there be more crimes? Will the main character solve the case? Will they survive? Unravelling these issues is the joy for the reader. Putting together the puzzle is the fun for the author.

Hello,
I just joined the Group and wanted to introduce myself. I coauthored a fiction thriller called "The Dyodyne Experiment" (http://www.DyodyneExperiment.com" and it will be launching on June 1. I just created our website and am looking forward to the journey! :)

Thanks,

It's taken a year or two, including two disasters with dippy publishers, but SWEET SPOT-my novel about crime/politics/baseball in Mazatlan-is finally published and on the rack.

Click the banner below to see the publisher's page, which has a synopsis, video, and free sample chapter.

Anybody who likes the book could do a few little things you can do to help me out, and I'd appreciate any of them:

Ask your local bookstore or library to stock the book. It's available through Ingram's distributors, which all shops and libraries are familiar with. It's returnable.

Anybody with an amazon.com account can tag, vote for, or submit reviews for SWEET SPOT
http://www.amazon.com/Sweet-Spot-Mazatlan-Carnival-Politics/dp/0982...

(Or for that matter, my previous book IMAGINARY LINES
http://www.amazon.com/Imaginary-Lines-Physical-Cultural-Frontiers/d...

Thanks for any help you can give me in getting this book into readers' hands.

Best to you all

Lin

Hello everyone, I am thrilled to announce that Midnight Revelations - vol. 1 in The Dark Whispers Series has been announced as a finalist in ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year contest. It was submitted under the Horror/Fiction category...even though to me it is a paranormal thriller. It is one of four finalists in that category. The winners will be announced in May at the BEA in New York CIty. Wish me luck!!!

Hi, I'm new to your group and to Book Marketing Network. I've written a paranormal mystery/thriller. The title is Midnight Revelations - vol. 1 in The Dark Whispers Series. If you like your thrillers with a ghost or two lurking about, check out my webpage at www.karenbencebooks.com or my page here on BMN. I have a number of author events scheduled in the next two months in VA, SC, and NY. Hope to see you at one of them.
