To other women that have been abused:

    REMEMBERING WHO YOU ARE
Before I formed you in the womb I knew and approved of you and before you were born I separated and set you apart…….. Jeremiah 1:5
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Have you found in your life that you are so consumed with another person that you loose your prospective in your own life? That you complete forget who you are and become what the other person wants you to be.
Remember who you were and now who you are. You are becoming the daughter of faith that God had plan for you..
Stop and pray; ask the Lord to give you strength and
wisdom to be that special person that God created and set aside for His glory.
Speak the following statements everyday and watch
the change in your life and how you view yourself.
You are the righteous of God in Christ Jesus
    • You are a woman of faith
    • You are a woman of prayer
    • You are a woman of praise
    • You are a woman with only one master and that
    is The Lord Jesus Christ.

In case you didn't read my comments to your post, Susan, I said that it's a great post! As a Christian Counselor, I am sorry to share that most, if not all, of those God sends to us have been abused in some way, and there is a lot of emotional damage that needs to be worked through as well as minds redirected to God's balanced, emotionally healthy law of love. God is so amazing in that He doesn't just give us life, He gives us principles how to live it!

I, too, look forward to getting to know you better and sharing and supporting as well as fellowshipping with you. I look forward to your accepting my friend request. Just click on the "accept" link.

    Blessings,

I regard you as a f riend, too, Susan. What's in a click, anyway? Seriously, thanks for your efforts, and I pray that you can register your friends so the system knows what to do! Ning does weird stuff on occasion, so I am not surprised.

Yours in His friendship and fellowship,

Susan, saw your comment on my post about waiting. Now you've got me curious. What do you see that we have in common? I hope it's not chronic illness or disability, but I am here for you if it is.

Let me now if you'd like an invite to our very special group, Christian Emotional Recovery. Some members like yours truly live with chronic illness and disability, while others need support while waiting for God to turn their lives around, and still others participate as encouragers to be there during life's hard times for those that need them. Whatever your reason(s), we will welcome you with open arms. Please join us!

    Warmly,
    Sharon

Wow! What a testimony! You are right when you say we have much in common. God has healed me from near fatal illnesses as well. Guess as long as we serve His purposes and He's not finished with us yet, here we will be to share our stories and encourage others.

How true that God uses us as instruments of blessing before He blesses the instrument!

I rejoice with you daily and am here to support and partner with you however the Lord leads.

Wow! Has it occurred to you that God allows those like us to experince such dramatic intervention so that we can be a living breathing example to others. You see that I write frequently, "what God has done for me, He can and will do for you in His perfect timing and plan and purpose for your life."

This is awesome in every sense of the word. Thanks for making my day! I have much more to share, as I am sure you do, too. I look forward to hearing all about it!

    Blessings,
    Sharon
