Something About Me and My Book:
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, in myfather’s footsteps I joined the United States Marine Corps in 1978. After 20 years of service and tours of duty in the Persian Gulf wars (Desert Shield and Desert Storm) I am retired and now resides in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan with my lovely family.

In realization of my life long passion to make a difference with my words, I am the author of two collections of poetry that reaches a wide range of collective thoughts and emotions brought on by the events we've experienced or long to experience.

As a result of my hard work and dedication, my book "Forever Moments" and "Shades of Love, Poetic Moments" was/has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in the letters category and for the 2006 and 2007 Library of Virginia Literary Awards.
