You asked about virtual blog tours. I did a paid one but didn't really sell any books. The blogs I got on didn't have many visitors. Instead (the book I was pushing a unique book on personal finance for young people), I found the top personal finance blogs and contacted each of them to see if they wanted to review my book. I did it over a period of a month and a half, I also did it during a time (graduation season) when bloggers might want to do a post on "Financially Illiterate Graduates".
