Something About Me and My Book:: Once a teacher (now retired), I can now say I am a novelist. I can say this because Oak Tree Press has agreed to publish WAIFS OF THE WASTELAND, a book thiat is very dear to me. You see, I co-authored the book with my daughter, Madelayne, and we're so excited to see it find a home with Oak Tree.
Set in in 1925 Hollywood, WAIF's is a period piece full of silent-movie stars, thugs, dames and booze. It's a hard-boiled love story full of crime and suspense.
