Something About Me and My Book:: I'm an author of an award winning book, Critical Conditions: The Essential Hospital Guide To Get Your Loved One Out Alive. My newest book, The Take-Charge Patient: How You Can Get The Best Medical Care will be released May of 2012.
I write articles on patient advocacy, patient safety and health related issues, which are published in magazines, newspapers and on websites. I also do regular radio interviews. I publish a monthly newsletter and am now creating a blog. Whew!
I'm really excited about my new book as it hits a much broader market than the last one. Interviewed over 375 physicians, and other medical professionals. Lots of good info. It helps to be really passionate about the material.
