My Life at Sweetbrier is a Mom's Choice gold medal winner. it has also won The Reader's Favorite silver medal, Best Book awards finalist. This book is a true story about the power of perseverance, and family support.All of Deanie's books share positive messages and encourage children to reach for their dreams.Charlie the Horse is a fictional tale of a race horse who wants to win the Kentucky Derby. Charlie's adventures entertain readers while they learn important lessons Charlene the Star is told from Charlene's point of view. Readers see her thoughts and amusing actions as she tries to discover her talent. It's highly recommended for teachers, children, and parents.
Deanie is a graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature. She and her illustrator/sister Holly Humphrys-Bajaj, were featured in a locally televised interview, conducted by one of the middle school Journalism club members.
All of Deanie's books are now available on Kindle.
