Something About Me and My Book:
My book signing at Borders in April was a big success. I have been invited back for another signing next month Saturday, June 14th @ 4PM. If you are in the neighborhood, please drop by - bring a friend or bring your family. There will be gifts and prizes. You can sit out on the veranda and watch the boats sail by or you can sip a cup of herb tea and relax in the upstairs lounge, we'll have a great time. Location: 2240 E. Sunrise Blvd. - Ft. Lauderdale, Fl 33304. (954) 566-6335

I've been blessed with the gift of encouragement, which I share freely and with great joy. Originally from Harlem, NY, I now reside in Florida. I am the mother of seven beautiful people, the grandmother of a small and beautiful nation, an entrepreneur, and an award winning first time author of a new release – Facets, Phases and Transformation; a book of inspirational poems and short stories. My book is geared to both genders, all ages and covers every aspect of life. It is based on my life experiences, observations and spans decades; this is a timeless work of insights and encouraging tidbits that keeps the reader coming back for more. I have won the Prestigious Editor’s Choice Award, and have been
nominated for The Best Poems and Poets 2007 Award by the International Library of Poetry. My book has been installed into the African American Research Library and into the Broward County Library system in S. Florida.

My fascination of diverse cultures creates in me a love for traveling. I have been blessed with the opportunity to have traveled to some of the most exotic and extremely exciting parts of the world, some of the places I visited were Haiti, Egypt, Israel, China and Lhasa, Tibet. I look forward to a trip to Kenya in the near future. I have written many different articles about these far-off and interesting places. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things and in the near future, I look forward to sharing more of my experiences and the miracles that I witnessed in my next book. I have a love for photography; I enjoy making jewelry and other hand crafts such as greeting cards, etc. I am extremely proud of my fountain pen collection.

Thanks for the encouragement, Virginia. Are you an author? Anything published yet?

Hi Virginia, sorry I didn't read your bio before asking about your publishing. I later went to your web site. Nice to see a WOMAN accomplish so much, keep it up.

Thank you so much! The Expo is May 17th, and things are so busy, but God is good! Please keep the event and me in prayer!
