Something About Me and My Book:: Tammy Lynn Whisman, born and raised in Southern West Virginia. A member of the WV Writers, Inc. and a frequent contributor to several online poetry magazines.

I love writing poetry. Painting pictures with words that tickle the imagination. In hopes that the words, make the reader laugh or cry; to reach out and touch with words that soothe or startle.

Lyrical expressions, vivid phrases and puzzles to boggle the mind, are some of the ingredients that help inspire my muse; an indulgence that gives me great satisfaction.

I'm a small town girl living her dream to be a published author.

My book, "Fireflies, Moonlight and All That Jazz", is a treasury of poems, a lyrical expression; an illustration of words, of all that can be imagined. Revealing, with the turn of every page, an abundance of all that is whimsical, contemplative and heartwarming, Fireflies, Moonlight and All That Jazz caresses the soul with words of life, love, friendship and tribulation.
