My new novel: The valley of love. Kate knows love and live an unforgettable summer. The impending war and other hardships will lead her to separate from her beloved Taylor. The two young people have to face and overcome obstacles that war will put them in front. Kate will bring a pregnancy to term bitterly opposed by his mother and must contend against the prejudices of a male-dominated society. Taylor, who served in the US Navy, will live, as all the soldiers involved, with death at his side in the waters of the Pacific in March, the scene of bloody naval clashes with the Japanese. The only contact between the two young people is the correspondence, but this is countered by those who should instead preserve it.
