Escaping from Tolosa, Kitt stows away on a trading ship, on a sea journey that lasts far longer than he intends. A pirate ship appears on the horizon, the Orokun of the Bloody Hand. In a leaking four-master with purple sails and riddled with magic, he faces a Sea Witch, the Kraken, Mermen, and monster-storms, and finds the hidden island of Satanazes, where treasures wait, and an underground forge.
