- "Healing Your Financial Soul - An interactive guide to restoring your relationship with money" is not your usual Christian financial book. It's about becoming HEALTHY about, with and around money itself. No one needs more lectures about striving and guilt.
Basically, I got tired to seeing people's dreams and visions held hostage by crummy finances and self-defeating stress about money. So I've combined five pastoral counseling and prayer ministry models and applied them directly to the area of conflicting and undermining beliefs (conscious and subconscious) regarding money. Even body language. Not budgeting, saving, investing and fundraising. Rather, what you actually think, believe and feel about money... and why you do what you do with it.
And all the trouble that's been causing you.
If people can be healthy about the nature and behavior of money itself, then the rest will all make start to make sense and feel more peaceful and joyful. Then your results will be consistent and life will be a lot more fun!
Now doing church seminars!
I've now done 6 weekend seminars based on HYFS.
They run Friday evenings, 7-9PM; and Saturday 9AM-3PM.
The response has been great, people leave encouraged and they start seeing tangible changes over the following days and weeks.
Seriously, the change starts within and works its way out into people's circumstances and finances.
The next seminar is April 3&4, 2009 at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship (where my wife and I were on the pastoral staff for 5 years).
Bookings for British Columbia this June are taking shape now.
