The Key of Aramath
by A. A. Riley

Book Description
The Key of Aramath is the story of Annie Marshall, a thirteen-year-old girl, who learns to believe in herself and her own abilities by banding together with her friends to thwart the plans of a despicable sorcerer bent on universal domination. The adventure begins when a dark character gives Annie a magical coin. Later she discovers that the coin is the Key of Aramath which has the power to open the Black Void and release untold terrors upon the world. With the help of her guardian, Miss Dean, and longtime friend, Dr. Trimby, Annie discovers that she has the magic powers necessary to stop the opening of the Void. To bolster her confidence Dr. Trimby and Miss Dean insist that Annie join the Carterville Sorcerers’ Society (CSS), the local sorcerer’s club, as a novitiate. At last Annie finds where she belongs, a group who doesn’t ridicule her every quality, but accepts her for herself. As time runs out to save the world, the CSS prepares its counterattack against the forces of evil, but in the end only Annie can save them. And she does so wonderfully, making many new friends along the way.
