Valley of the Dead, by Crystal M Romero (@Crstl_M_Romero), has new cover art and design.

New cover won't be available immediately.

When Crystal Romero contacted me about revamping the cover for Valley of the Dead, I was excited about approaching it from a new angle, expressing a new style while holding true to the story and genre.

To be honest, I feel this new cover fits our original vibe before we got distracted by details. You can check out the old cover below.

So without further ado ... The blurb:

Because of nationwide marriage equality, this year's Gay Pride weekend promised to be the best one ever. Across California’s Silicon Valley, couples gathered for numerous weddings, and people showed their pride at a downtown park. Nothing, not even religious protests could ruin the weekend.

Yvonne Martin just wanted to relax at home this year and dream about white sand beaches. Then Reggie called with crazy talk about zombies at…

'Foundations of Faith' ~ Book One of the Brother Thomas and the Guardians of Zion series by Michael Chrobak @MChrobak234

When Michael started sharing his plans for his Brother Thomas and the Guardians of Zion book series, I couldn't wait to get started on the cover art and design. If I remember right, Michael is planning on maybe two new books a year for the series. Looks like I'll be kept busy, lol. I LOVE MY JOB!!!
Along with the cover, I've also created a logo (below) and building website for his new publishing company, Seneschal Publishing.
Back cover:
Thomas could think of a million places he’d rather be right now than on a Confirmation retreat. After all, his parents had forced him to attend. It’s only Saturday morning and already he wants to leave. All that changes when Thomas is challenged by a dark presence that wants nothing more than to see his faith fail, a faith he didn’t even know he had. As the darkness consumes him, Thomas’ entire world breaks apart.
Can…

Hi Aidana,

thanks for being my first friend around here. I had some experiences so far in the trenches of IT Books however that's my first novel ever: https://t.co/tqp2PGBoO8
Should you be interested in providing a review on Amazon, I'd be pleased to send you a copy. I'm as well interested in reviewing any of yours.
Best,

Francesco

Hello Aidana-- Thanks for the friend request!  It's been a while since I've been well enough to log on here, so sorry for the delay.  The same factors affect my ability to write, so even though I've got a great many "chapters" completed, I've not found a way to weave them into one cohesive story. I've also not found a way to market anything I might finish.  My work has potential, but I need help in moving it from "potential" to reality.  That might mean someone telling me it's not good enough material to try to weave it into something more. It might mean scrapping it all and starting over, or it might mean my mind has been so badly damaged by illness that I'm no longer capable of completing my story. I need human interaction, simply put. Hoping to find some.

Thank you so much, Aidana. I am not very tech-savvy, I'm sorry to say. But I will try to learn how to navigate around on this site.

Hello Aidana,

Thankyou for your invitation, which I am very happy to accept.  I'm new to this site and it's good to have at least one friend.

I've joined the site because I'm a fairly new author and have published four books in the past two years.  I'm currently writing my fifth; a novel.  I love writing but I have problems with marketing and hope to learn a lot from other members.

Your work looks amazing and perhaps we can work together when my new book is ready  I'm adding a link to my blog which may be of interest to you.  It's fun and it gives you an idea about my work.

Hi, and thank you for being my first friend on the network.  If there is anything I can do to help you with your publishing or if you just want to chat, just let me know.  I want to connect to authors and hope to become a full fledged, contributing member of the group.

I always need a book cover designed.  I'll contact you the next time I need one.

I've attached my cover for my newest book, "African Safari Bootcamp for Women.  What do you think?  I also have a closeup of a leopard I thought I might use instead of the scene with the cheatah.  Book will be on most major ebook sites by mid-june.

Thank you

Well, (Pause. Tentatively raise my hand and give a small wave). I guess we are friends now. "hello!" I'm an artist too, as well as writer. (except, frown, I'm not like anyone else. And if it looked like I was, I'd do something about that!)

So that I have good memory I scandisk and defrag each night. In the morning I wake up with a blank mind. I see a red orb in the sky and smile "Sun!" I turn my computer on, open emails and say "Friends!"

New here. Have 6 books out in the past year, that took a lifetime to write. Began with pencil on notebook paper before the days of computers and before I could afford a typewriter. Much has changed since I began. I sold 5,000 of 'book one' on my own in a year. Back with hard copy going through a printer days. Now, selling a handful is a challenge. Did people stop reading? Is there a zillion more writer competition these days? I'm not in touch with the big world. Live in a village of 300 people in Alaska. Spent 25 years as a mountain man hermit in the wilderness.

I sit and study civilization, as a wolf on the ledge watches the caribou herd stampede below. I know something of the herd. But not as an insider. Now and then a wolf on another ledge across the valley sits up and we spot each other. or perhaps it is a caribou saying hi. It's hard to tell. For now I'm just waving.

Sure thing :-)

Hope you can make it. But, I will understand if you are too busy making me a super awesome logo for The Draconos Saga.

Oh, you can also view your beautiful book cover here:

http://www.wattpad.com/user/stephenpaolini1

There are many indie authors on Wattpad that could really use a professional book cover by your design. I get lots of compliments and tell them all that it is a WillowRaven creation.

Hope a few of them have visited your site :-)

Aidana, I know that you mentioned that you do not always get your messages from this site. I hope that you get this one :-)

I just started a new forum based upon an author interview of an indie who has had tremendous success over on Wattpad. I hope that you can follow the link below and post a comment and/or question. Perhaps you can mention the importance of an awesome book cover? :-)
