Purpose of GUILD
Alaska Writers Guild is an organization supporting published and unpublished writers in Alaska. If you have written, are writing, or are thinking of writing, you want to be a part of this dynamic group, which meets monthly for fun, fellowship, and programs of interest to writers at all skill levels. Alaska Writers Guild is designed to educate and inform beginning, intermediate and published writers. Members gain information and skills in which they may form a plan of action and a system of working with editors, agents, public relations people, printers, publishers, bookstores, and marketing people. And frequently, by listening to authors who have done it. The people in the writing industry offer valuable information and contacts in the monthly meetings and workshops.
