Something About Me and My Book:
I'm a new author, whose first book, 'Captain's Surrender' is out on the 1st of January 2008. Captain's Surrender is a gay historical romance set in the Age of Sail. To quote my publisher:

"Captain’s Surrender a male/male historical novel set in 1779, is a beautifully written tale of forbidden romance between two star crossed lovers who are trying to survive life in the British Navy during the war with the Colonies. It’s filled with passion, intrigue, and the kind of compelling heroes that you’ve come to expect from a Linden Bay Romance novel--two of them, actually."

Captain's Surrender

From the Back Cover
Ambitious and handsome, Joshua Andrews had always valued his life too much to take unnecessary risks. Then he laid eyes on the elegant picture of perfection that is Peter Kenyon.

Soon to be promoted to captain, Peter Kenyon is the darling of the Bermuda garrison. With a string of successes behind him and a suitable bride lined up to share his future, Peter seems completely out of reach to Joshua.

But when the two men are thrown together to serve during a long voyage under a sadistic commander with a mutinous crew, they discover unexpected friendship. As the tension on board their vessel heats up, the closeness they feel for one another intensifies and both officers find themselves unable to reign in their passion.

Let yourself be transported back to a time when love between two men in the British Navy was punishable by death, and to a story about love, about honor, but most of all, about a Captain's Surrender.

Free read - Insubordination

This is a free short story set around the middle of 'Captain's Surrender'. Unlike the book, it's a foray into erotica without a great deal of plot, because you can't fit a lot of plot into 2,000 words :)

For the sake of their lives and careers, Josh and Peter agreed to put their need for one another behind them. But then a luxurious and sensual dinner together becomes foreplay, leading Josh to an act of insubordination that Captain Peter Kenyon will never forget.…

The Witch's Boy - a dark fantasy available now.

I've, finally, after much proof reading and correcting, pressed the 'make available' button on 'The Witch's Boy'.

It's a monumental occasion for me, though only in a small way. I believe that it means TWB should now be available through my Lulu storefront. It will take another 6-8 weeks before it's available for order through Amazon, Borders + Barnes and Noble.

However, the ball is rolling!

I'll grab this… Continue

Hello Milind. Thanks for the offer, but I have made my own website, and enjoy being able to do everything myself. (I make my own banners and graphics as well.)

LOL! I tried one on for research purposes - I write historicals - and as soon as it was laced up discovered that I loved not only the look but the feel of it. I wear them a lot now, though it's hard to find clothes tailored to go over one.

The cover of 'Captain's Surrender' was done by the in-house artist at Linden Bay Romance, so I didn't have much say in that one. The Witch's Boy one, however, was done by a friend of mine. I wanted something which would look like a grimoire. I'm really happy with that one.

Thanks, Shiela! It sounds like a great idea. Have I said 'thank you so much for everything you're doing for me, I really appreciate it'? If not, I mean to. And if I have, it can stand repeating :)
