Something About Me and My Book:
Ex Pat from Britain been living in Maryland since 1992.

Danny, a 15 year old quiet subdued boy, finds himself living with
his mother and her strange new husband for the first time since he was 6.
After having lived most of their childhood in many different foster homes,
he and his brother Peter, ended up with their horrible grandfather on a
concil estate for 5 year before they were seperated and whisked away by the authorities, Danny was placed with his mother, Peter placed with his stepmother and younger brother.
The joy of being away from the evils of his Grandfather were soon to be
shattered by the consuming force of his mothers illness and his step fathers
anger. Living in a new town and learing how to survive on the streets during
the one of the bleakest times in british history, the early 1980's, he finds
himself changing rapidly from day to day , amongst troubled kids, skinhead
gangs and rockabilly music. A boys downward spiral into the darker side of
life slowly unravels into a climatic troubled ending.
