Something About Me and My Book:
Storytelling, when I was just four years old, was a way to pass the time each night before my siblings and I dropped off to sleep. Writing them down started at age 10, and continued through my teen years . . . writing behind my math book. I’d have written behind other books, but math was the only class I could get away with it—with the teacher’s blessing. No one thought the passion would last, but it has . . . way beyond those early years.

When I was nine, my mother took me to the library, and while it was rather a small one, I was hooked on books the second I walked in. Horse stories, stories about twins, stories about the future and the past, I wanted to read it all—and I certainly tried! Reading books really is what inspired me to write them. The bad ones as well as the well written.

I write middle grade, young adult novels, and have plans to do some picture books for the littlest readers. Most of my main characters are—as I am—left handed. I had to learn to write from left to right back in first grade. All of my first work was done right to left which totally mystified my teacher and parents!

Occasionally, I have spoken in classrooms and at workshops about writing in general, epublishing, and writing as a career.

I’ve one middle-grade book on Barnes & Noble, Kobo, iBook, Scribd, 24 Symbols, Page Foundry, Tolino, and Amazon for the Kindle called The Kingsley Twins – Dalton’s Last Stand. Currently, I have a time-travel novel for 8 to 12-year-olds and a young adult novel in the works. I am planning to have them ready to publish in the next year. Meanwhile, I need to learn how and where to promote and market all of my stuff better to boost my sales and readership base.

I also write contemporary romance of the sweeter variety under the pen name Neenah Davis-Wilson.

Your lips bears witness to what you are saying. Really, it looked like you were telling a story when someone took you the photo you now use as your profile picture. I have read many profile messages here and you are the only one who has weave her message into a story. I love stories too and I can't wait to read your stories.
