Something About Me and My Book:
I used to have acne as a teenager and it continued on for years. I spent ages trying to work out how to get rid of it and finally did. My book, The Acne Programme, is a targeted 8-week programme that eliminates acne. At the end of the 8-week programme, you will have clear skin, or your money back.

Book review request

I'm looking for some fellow authors or book industry experts to review my book.

I am looking to use the reviews on my website and in my marketing so if you have written a book too I'd be more than happy to include some info on your book next to your name. Could be good for your marketing too!

If you are interested, email me at rebecca@theacneprogramme.com and I can organise a free download version for you.

I look forward to hearing your comments!

Rebecca

Enter to win :)

I've just created my first competition on my website.

http://www.theacneprogramme.com/competition.html

I'm hoping it will be another great way to get readers interested in my book. The competition gives away some products that are associated with my book.

Will let you know how it goes!

What an excellent idea! Best if luck with naming your book. I've voted for 40/40 hindsight!

Hi Morgan,
What a great idea to promote your business! I've added myself on the Book Place. The more publishers there are in the world, the easier it will be for us all to be published! I hope it goes well :)

Hi Rebecca,
I'm with a small publisher who pays for the publishing.
It's not easy promoting when people don't know who you are so I'm building a web presence. I'm open to new ways to make my brand known and have also started a ning network called Book Place at http://morganmandelbooks.ning.com to share and promote books with readers, authors and book industry people. It's similar to this, but has only been open one week. So far I've got a lot of fiction people on it, but am looking for all genres.

I've found a great way to generate interest is to give away a 'free report' of some sort on my website to get people interested. They generally then buy my book afterwards.

I've labelled my report 'The Top Ten Secrets on How To Get Blemish-Free Skin' and it gives away a few tips.

If you are interested in seeing how I get it to work, check it out at http://www.theacneprogramme.com/secrets.html

Any other suggestions anyone on how to promote? Am keen to hear what is working for other people!
