Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:
We are a small publishing house with 18 contracted authors and 6 others in the pipeline. While being neither a vanity publisher nor traditional publisher we set out to meet the needs of the many frustrated writers out there who can't even get their manuscript read, let alone published. We aim to stay small, giving maximum dedication to our authors, and run our business as a 'little family'.

We are selective, and providing a manuscript is acceptable to us we read through it thoroughly prior to passing on to our Readers. These Readers range in age group, culture and background, and so give us a good idea of the 'across the board' potential of the work concerned.

We then issue an Offer to Publish based on the individual merit of the work concerned.

We love books, love writing - most of us being writers ourselves - and all our team are fully qualified in their individual roles. There seemed little alternative for writers to be published unless they paid out a large amount of money, or were happy to settle for an inferior product printed and produced without help or advice.

We cannot pay out advanced royalties, and so after careful consideration we make our individual offers according to how much we can risk funding a particular piece of work. Mostly we make a small set-up charge (usually about 10% of the publishing costs) to help towards keeping the business afloat.
