Would you like more exposure for your book? Do you want to go to those always "Talked About" tradeshows but know you just cannot afford them? Are you aware of how much networking can help boost your sales?
What would you pay to attend the following events?

American Library Association Convention in Washington D.C. $2,200
Book Expo America in New York City $4,500

I would love to go, but I can't be gone more than three or four days. Caregiver and cat issues. I'd give anything to be able to join you, Sunny. It's one of my favorite trips, and I'm setting a book in some of those locations. Maybe next time. Hope to see you at Bouchercon. Hugs and have fun.

Bonnie, I've been asked to plan a mystery cruise/conference. Looking to fill panels. We leave Nov. 14-21 from LA to the Mexican Riviera (Puerto Vallarta, Mazetlan, Cabo San Lucas). Berths start under $500 and that includes all those pesky tips; the conference is free and open to the 3,000 people sailing. We get to sell books! Plus, a Hollywood literary agent is coming along to listen to manuscript pitches. Think about it. Website: www.2010mysterycruise.blogspot.com

Bonnie,
Timothy Desmond has just joined this site. He's going to be selling his historical thriller "For Thou Art With Me" at the Hanford BookFest on April 19. Please "befriend" this Valley author.

I actually like your first choice of a title! But "Intern" certainly captures the subject matter.

I know what you mean about just "having to write more." It takes over -- the writing urge.
