Looking for a Good Literary Agent For My Book

About Me:
In the past, I've published poetry in various journals and magazines, but I currrently sell my curriculum I write online. I've written many thematic units on novels, plays, and poetry from Lord of the Flies to The Great Gatsby to Maniac Magee to The Diary of Anne Frank. I just finished writing a unit on thesis writing, and I am now working on writing another unit on the novel, The Truth About Sparrows. The theme of this novel is "Finding Myself Through Loss".

In addition, a few months ago, I completed writing my first book that is an inspirational nonfiction narrative for young women who have experienced shattered dreams. I have sent it out to various literary agents, and I am waiting to hear back. Near the end of the book I write, "Be that woman who is irresistibly delicious. Don’t lose the light in your eyes. Let me say it again- don’t lose the light in your eyes. Do you feel it fading?".

I am now writing another inspirational nonfiction book for young adults that deals with the theme of devastation and loss. In one of my chapters entitled "Bombs" I write, "I believe with all of my heart that when the bombs are going off in our lives that we must hold on to hope with ALL that we’ve got. We must not let the explosions in our life take away all of our ammunition and armor. We must not stand defenseless against the bombs in our lives". Also, I have a photographer who is interested in adding photographs that deal with this theme as well as a cowriter who is willing to work with me to write the book. I am excited to continue writing this next book.

(All of my writing is centered around a biblical worldview.)

Why I'm Here:
I really would like to move this publishing along and work with a good literary agent so any assistance from more experienced authors on this website would be greatly appreciated.
