I've enjoyed writing See Through. It is my second novel. I found it strangely harder to write than the first one. It might have something to do with writing it in chapters from the two main characters' view points. I had a great time with the fantasy aspect because I was able to let my imagination fly.
See Through is the story of a troubled marriage with a fantasy aspect to it and is explored from both the wife and husband's view points. It is light hearted with an underlying serious side. Below is a brief taste of the story.
With a shock Fleur discovers she’s become invisible: she’s not the only one either! Meanwhile her family is falling apart. She can’t do anything about it. Communication is impossible: they can neither see nor hear her. Fleur’s life is out of control and she’s furious.
See Through is available from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk, bookdepository.co.uk, and barnesandnoble.com

I haven't been visiting this site for a long time. I've had a lot on my plate and my mind has not been on writing. I also had an operation with 8 weeks of recovery so lots of things did not get done and now have piled up! I went to a family reunion in Kelowna, that's in the Okanagan Valley which is the southern interior of BC. It can get over 100 degrees and air conditioning is a must for car and home. It was good to reaqaint myself with people I have not seen for over 30 years. My favorite aunt was quite emotional when we met.
I hope to get back to a course on creating and marketing a web site soon. I hope things are going well with you.
Hi Catherine,
40 years! That's amazing, good for you both. Thanks for your response and congratulations on your 2nd book.
Keep in touch,
Kristin Callender
I followed my friend, Landa, here. I've been wanting to finish the book that I started 10 years ago. I've added bits of information to the story along the way. I have an outline, the beginning few paragraphs that set up the story, charachter details, background on the 3 groups of people that are in the story, details of scenes along the way, the climax, and the wid up ending. So, I guess it is a skeleten with the face, hands and feet fleshed out. Going from short stories to a novel will be a real challenge. I hope to get back to some real writing next year. This year I am focused on creating an online business, which will include article writing. Good on you for being published! See Through sounds intriguing. I imagine write from two different charachter's view point would be a challenge.
