Something About Me and My Book:: I'm a free spirited author who writes about moving topics under the nom' de plume Ira Mency. I began writing at age 11, and landed a record review with my photograph in the The Baltimore Sun. Though I knew I could write, I never made a career of it, until now. I write freelance and usually discuss ECO FRIENDLY or GREEN issues. I also write on Handmadeology and VintageChalet, the blog.

My career was in Marketing, and eventually I would become an owner of a successful catering company. When I'm not doing that, I'm freelancing, ghostwriting, and working on a follow up to my first book.
